LinkedIn carousel downloader

Paste the link of a public LinkedIn carousel and download the original PDF, or save every slide as an image at up to 1920 pixels. Image carousels work too, every image in order. The files come straight from LinkedIn's servers to your device. No login, nothing stored.

Works on public posts only, using the same page LinkedIn serves to anyone logged out. Files download to your device straight from LinkedIn's own CDN; they never pass through our servers, and nothing is stored. Download what you have the right to reuse, and credit the author when you share their work.

Beyond the download

Depost AI makes your next carousel from a topic your analytics already proved.

Pick a topic from your own analytics and Depost AI lays it out as a carousel in your brand style, with the post to carry it. It publishes through LinkedIn’s official API, and nothing goes out until you approve it.

The original file, not a screenshot

A LinkedIn carousel is a PDF the author uploaded, and LinkedIn keeps that file. The public page of the post carries the viewer’s configuration, which names a manifest, which names the PDF and the slide images LinkedIn rendered from it. This tool follows that chain and offers both: the PDF as the author made it, text selectable and resolution intact, and each slide as an image for the cases where one page is all you need.

That is also why it only works on public posts. A document behind the sign-in wall has no public page, so there is no configuration to read, and no honest way around that.

Read them to make better ones

The useful thing to do with a downloaded carousel is to read it slowly, which the viewer discourages. Note where the hook slide put its promise, how many words each page carried, which page made you swipe and which one lost you. Ten of those, saved and compared, teach the format faster than any guide. Then make your own with the carousel generator, which lays out your text on slides and exports the PDF LinkedIn wants.

Questions

How do I download a LinkedIn carousel as a PDF?
Paste the link of the post and press Find the carousel. A document post shows the PDF button first: the original file the author uploaded, with its text still selectable, in full resolution. Under it, every slide appears as an image you can save one at a time or all together.
Where does the PDF come from?
From LinkedIn. The public page of a document post carries the viewer’s configuration, which points at a manifest listing the original PDF and the slide images LinkedIn rendered from it, at up to 1920 pixels. The tool reads that and hands the addresses to your browser, which downloads the files from LinkedIn’s servers directly.
What is the difference between a document post and an image carousel?
A document post is a PDF uploaded through the document option; LinkedIn shows it as pages you swipe through, and it has an original file to download. An image carousel is a post with several images, which LinkedIn shows as a gallery. This tool handles both: the PDF and slides for the first, every image in order for the second.
Do the slides keep their quality?
The PDF is the original file, so yes. The slide images are the largest LinkedIn renders, up to 1920 pixels on the long side, which is sharper than the viewer shows on most screens. For an image carousel, the images are the size the public page serves, usually 800 pixels wide.
Do I need to log in, and does it work on private posts?
No login, and no. The tool reads the page LinkedIn serves to anyone who is not signed in. A post shared with connections only has no public page, and the tool says so rather than working around it.
Is it legal to download a carousel?
Saving a copy to read or to learn from is ordinary. Republishing it, or lifting slides into your own deck, needs the author’s permission, and LinkedIn’s terms ask members not to redistribute content. Credit the author, link the post, and ask before you reuse.
Is anything stored?
The link goes to our server, which reads the public post once and keeps the answer for an hour so a second lookup is instant. It holds the post’s public details and nothing about you. The PDF and the slides never pass through our servers.
