How many connection requests can you send on LinkedIn?
The connection request limit is the cap LinkedIn enforces on how many invitations an account can send in a period; LinkedIn does not publish the number, and an account that reaches it is blocked from sending invitations for a period that typically lasts a week.

The figure everybody quotes is a hundred a week. It is not LinkedIn’s figure. LinkedIn’s own help pages describe the restriction, what triggers it, and how long it lasts, and at no point state a threshold, which is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight: a published number is a target to sit just underneath.
What LinkedIn does name is three triggers. Sending many invitations in a short space of time. Having many invitations ignored, left pending, or marked as spam. And sending an excessive number in a way that suggests an automation tool, which can suspend the account rather than just pause the invitations. The second one gets missed, and it is the one that moves the ceiling: fifty a week to people who know you behaves differently from fifty to strangers.
Two numbers are published, and both are worth knowing. An account can hold a maximum of 30,000 first-degree connections, after which the only way to add one is to remove one. And withdrawing an invitation blocks you from sending another to that person for up to three weeks, so cleaning out a long list of pending requests costs you those people for the rest of the month.
The personalized note is capped separately. LinkedIn states that Basic members can attach a message to five connection requests a month, which changes the arithmetic of cold outreach on a free account more than the weekly ceiling does.
There is no number to aim for here. The system watches patterns rather than counting to a threshold, so the durable answer is fewer requests sent to people with a reason to accept them.
