Why it matters
A custom LinkedIn feed in Depost AI is a feed built from a list of people you choose, such as prospects, customers, or peers. It shows only their posts, with a reply drafted in your voice under each.
The LinkedIn feed is ranked to keep you scrolling, so it shows whatever is getting reactions right now and buries the prospect who posted this morning. A custom feed flips that: you decide who belongs in it, and you see only their posts. Depost AI adds the part a feed alone cannot do: a reply drafted in your voice under each post, and a lead list that records every comment, DM, and connection, so warming a relationship is a habit, not a spreadsheet.

How it works
While you read LinkedIn, a post, a thread, or a profile, add the person to a list: prospects, customers, competitors, people you learn from. The list grows out of your own reading, one person at a time.
Open feed builds a feed from the list: only what those people posted, nothing the algorithm slipped in between.
A reply is drafted in your voice under each post. You edit and send it, and the person moves from new to engaging, to warm, to contacted, without you updating anything.
What ships
One list per purpose: prospects, customers, peers, competitors. Open any of them as a feed and see only what those people posted.
A post, a comment thread, a profile: add the person to a list from wherever you found them, with tags and a star.
New, observing, engaging, warm, contacted, replied, accepted, won. A comment moves someone to engaging; five touches in two weeks make them warm; a DM makes them contacted.
Filter by follow-up due, needs follow-up, or last touch, and the people who went quiet come back to the top.
Under each post in the feed, a reply in your voice. Connection notes and DMs are drafted from what the person posted. Nothing is sent without you.
Likes, comments, replies, connection requests, and DMs are counted per person, theirs and yours, with the last touch dated. Open a name and the history is there.
Without a tool
Partly. LinkedIn’s search filters let you see recent posts from people you name, and it is worth knowing how before you pay for anything. Here is the workaround, and where it stops.
The workaround, in LinkedIn search
Search for anything
Type a topic, or a single space, into the search bar and press Enter.
Switch to Posts
Pick the Posts tab at the top of the results, then open All filters.
Add the people
Under From member, add each person whose posts you want. Sort by Latest.
Bookmark the URL
Save the results page in your browser. Open it whenever you want to catch up.
This is a fine way to check on a handful of people. It is not a feed, and it does nothing after you have read the post.
Where it stops
Every visit is a new search
Every visit re-runs the query. New people mean editing the filter, and the member list is capped.
It remembers nothing
Who you commented on, when, and what happened next lives in your head or a spreadsheet.
It drafts nothing
You still open each post and write from a blank box, in the tone the moment gives you.
It is yours alone
A teammate cannot open your bookmark and pick up where you left off.
Past that point, in Depost AI
A list, opened as a feed
Add people from a post, a thread, or a profile. Open feed shows only what they posted, latest first, as many lists as you need.
Every touch on the record
Comments, replies, connection requests, and DMs are counted per person, theirs and yours, and the status moves on its own: new, engaging, warm, contacted.
A draft under each post
In your tone, from what they wrote. You edit and post it, from your own session.
Shared with the brand
Lists belong to the brand, so the team sees the same feed, the same statuses, and the same follow-ups due.
Because LinkedIn ranks the home feed for you. It weighs what is getting reactions right now, what people like you engaged with, and what keeps you scrolling, and it shows you that. The people you follow are one input among many, so a prospect who posted this morning can sit under a stranger’s viral thread all day. Muting and unfollowing tune the ranking; they do not replace it. A list you built is the only feed that shows exactly the people you chose and nobody else.
LinkedIn itself does not let you build one; you can only nudge its ranking. In Depost AI you connect LinkedIn, create a list, add people to it as you read, and open the list as a feed. That feed shows only their posts.
Yes. Open feed shows the latest posts from the people on the list, newest first, with nothing ranked in between. The home feed on LinkedIn is ranked; a list is the only way to see exactly who you chose, in order.
Neither. Nobody is obliged to engage with you, and nothing engages for you. The feed shows you the posts; you decide what to say, and you say it.
Following hands the person to the algorithm; the bell sends notifications you will mute by Wednesday. A list is yours: open it and what those people posted is there, with nobody else in between.
In lead lists inside each brand, with a stage, tags, last touch, follow-up dates, and the count of likes, comments, replies, and DMs on both sides.
Lists belong to the brand, so everyone with access to that brand in your workspace sees the same feed and the same stages.
Yes. Nothing here automates actions on LinkedIn. Reading, commenting, connecting, and messaging happen from your own session, by you.
The feed is a LinkedIn feature. Replies on X, Reddit, and Threads are drafted the same way, and each has its own page.
