Why it matters

Why use an AI comment generator on LinkedIn?

Depost AI is a LinkedIn AI comment generator that drafts comments in your voice from the post you are reading and the take you add. You pick the angle, edit the draft, and post it yourself.

A comment puts your name and headline in front of someone else’s audience, next to a thought. That only works when the thought is yours: “Great post!” earns nothing, and a generic AI paragraph earns less. A draft built on your own take is how the comment stays specific.

How it works

How does the LinkedIn AI comment generator work?

01

Open the post

While you read LinkedIn, Depost AI reads the post with you: the text, the author, and the thread so far.

02

Pick the angle, add your take

Choose a comment type, or add a line of your own perspective and let the draft build around it. Ask for up to five drafts and each takes a different angle.

03

Edit and post it yourself

The draft lands in the comment box under your name. Change a word or the whole thing, then post. Depost AI never posts for you.

What ships

How does it write comments that sound like you?

Comment types, system and yours

Agree, Answer, Challenge, Experience, Insight, Question, Practical Tip, Stats/Facts, and more. Save your own styles with their own instructions and they sit next to the system ones.

Your perspective first

Add a line of what you think and the draft is arranged around it, or generated from it alone. That is where the specificity comes from.

Up to five drafts, five angles

Ask for more than one and each draft takes a different angle, labeled, so you can pick Experience over Counterpoint at a glance.

Fifteen tones, adaptive by default

Professional to Humorous. Adaptive mode keeps your tone but matches the register of the post, so a joke does not get a formal reply.

Replies that follow the thread

Replying inside a conversation is not the same as opening one. Reply drafts read the thread, including what you said earlier, and answer the turn.

Topics to skip

Set the topics you comment on and the ones you do not. When a post falls outside them, Depost AI says so and writes nothing.

When to use it

When is a comment on LinkedIn worth leaving?

Six situations where it pays, each with the draft Depost AI would put in the box and the comment type it would pick. Read them as drafts: every one is meant to be edited before you post it.

A prospect posts about the problem you solve

They are describing the pain in their own words. Answer the pain, not the pitch.

Your comment · draft Experience

We hit the same wall at about 40 trials a week. What moved it was not another email sequence, it was getting each new user one real result inside the first session. Happy to share what we changed if useful.

Someone in your field shares a lesson

Adding to a good post puts your name next to it in front of their readers.

Your comment · draft Insight

The part most people miss in this: the lesson holds while the team is small enough to feel the consequence. Past about twenty people you need someone whose job it is to notice, or it quietly stops being true.

A reply lands under your own post

Reply mode reads the thread above, so the draft answers what they said.

Your comment · draft Answer

Fair push. We measured it over two quarters rather than one, and the second is where the drop showed up. If it had been a single quarter I would have called it noise too.

A popular take you disagree with

Disagreement with a reason gets more replies than agreement. The tone stays civil because you set it.

Your comment · draft Challenge

I would flip this. The product tour is not the problem, it is what users do in the thirty seconds after they skip it. We removed ours and conversion did not move until we changed what the empty state asked for.

A question in your area, with no good answer yet

The best answer in a thread gets read for months. Depost AI can pull from your knowledge base for it.

Your comment · draft Practical Tip

Two things worked for us. One metric per screen, so nobody has to decide what to look at. And a default that already does something the moment you land, so the first click is a correction rather than a blank page.

A customer announces a win

Congratulations are easy to write badly. A specific one names what they did.

Your comment · draft Agree

Earned. Most people will congratulate the number; the thing worth noticing is the pricing change you shipped in March, which is the reason the number exists at all.

Safe for your account

Nothing is automated. Depost AI drafts into the box while you are on LinkedIn; the comment goes out from your own session, when you press the button.

No bulk, no schedule

There is no queue of comments, no timer, and no list of posts being worked through for you. One post, one draft, your decision.

Your name on it

The draft is built from your headline, your tone, and the take you typed. What it is not built from is a template, which is what a reader recognizes first.

What people ask about AI comments on LinkedIn.

Does Depost AI post comments for me?

No. It drafts the comment into the box under your name and stops there. You read it, edit it, and post it. There is no auto-commenting, no scheduled commenting, and no bot doing rounds, which is also why it is safe for your LinkedIn account.

Can it get my LinkedIn account restricted?

Nothing here automates LinkedIn. The draft appears in the comment box while you are on the page, and the comment is posted by you, from your own session, when you choose. There is no queue, no schedule, and no bulk commenting, which are the things LinkedIn acts against.

How is this different from the free LinkedIn comment generator?

The free tool takes a pasted post and gives you three comments, no account needed. Inside Depost AI the post is read where you are, the draft knows your name and headline, your saved styles and tones apply, replies follow the thread, and your knowledge base can be pulled in. Same idea, with the context switched on.

Will the comments sound like me?

They are drafted from your name and headline, the tone and comment type you set, and the line of perspective you add. The more of your own take you give, the more the comment reads as yours, which is why the perspective field is the one worth filling.

Can it use my documents?

Yes. Turn on the knowledge base and the draft can draw on the files, links, and notes you have added to your brand. Past posts and bookmarks stay out of comments on purpose: a reply should answer the post in front of you.

What about posts in other languages?

Turn on Use Post Language and the comment is drafted in the language of the post. Mention Author and Add Emojis are switches too, on or off as you like.

Does it work on X, Reddit, Threads, and Facebook too?

Yes. Each platform has its own drafting rules: replies on X and Threads stay short, Reddit comments get room to say something, and LinkedIn and Facebook comments are drafted as full comments. Each has its own page.

What is a good LinkedIn comment, anyway?

One that adds an experience, sharpens the point, or pushes back politely, in one to three sentences. The comment types map to exactly that: Experience, Insight, Challenge. Restating the post in different words is not a comment, and Depost AI is told not to write one.
