A post card is the most recognisable content format on the internet, which is why decks, courses, and landing pages keep borrowing it. Compose one below, with your name, your numbers, light or dark, and download it as a PNG at the timeline's real column width. Everything stays in your browser, and nothing touches X.

The X tools on this site run entirely in your browser. The LinkedIn half goes much further: Depost AI is an AI content team for B2B founders and teams, agents that read your analytics, plan your week, draft in your voice, design the graphics, and publish through the official API. If LinkedIn is part of your mix, that half can run itself.
X’s own embeds are the right tool when the post is real and the page is live: they stay linked to the source, keep their numbers current, and carry the attribution with them. The mockup wins everywhere embeds cannot go: a slide, a PDF, a printed page, an ad, or a post that does not exist yet because you are showing a client what their content could look like. It also wins when you need the numbers to be illustrative rather than live, which is a legitimate need in a deck and a dishonest one in a news story. Know which document you are making.
Craft-wise, restraint sells the illusion of realism honestly: ordinary counts, a handle that matches the name, and dark mode only if the surrounding slide is dark. The tell in most amateur mockups is not the pixels, it is the 2.4 million views on an account nobody has heard of.
Half the mockups people make are of posts they are still drafting. If that is you, the writing tools on this site are the better starting point: the tweet generator turns a rough idea into three options inside the character limit, and the character counter applies X’s real counting rules, links at 23 and all. Draft there, mock it up here, publish the one that survived both.
AI Tweet Generator
Three post options from a rough idea, each inside 280 characters, none of them engagement bait.
X Header Maker
A 1500 by 500 header with your line on it, sized so nothing important hides behind your profile photo.
