A line worth repeating deserves better than being buried in paragraph four. Type it below, put your name on it, and download it as a feed-sized image: three sizes, three set styles, twelve palettes and eight typefaces, with the type auto-fitting so a longer line shrinks instead of clipping, and every block draggable when you want the layout your own way.

Free to use, with no account needed.

## How to make a LinkedIn quote card

1. **Type the line.** One sentence that stands on its own, and your name under it.
2. **Pick the shape.** Square for the feed, portrait for more height, landscape for a slide.
3. **Choose a style, palette, and typeface.** The type resizes itself as the line gets longer, so a long quote shrinks rather than clipping.
4. **Drag the blocks where you want them.** The quote and the name both move independently.
5. **Download at 2x, no watermark.** The image is drawn in your browser, so nothing leaves it.

## Questions people ask

### What sizes does the quote card come in?

Three, all exported at double resolution: 1200 by 1200 square, the dependable feed default; 1080 by 1350 portrait, which takes the most vertical space in the feed; and 1200 by 627 landscape, matching link-preview proportions. Square is the right answer when in doubt.

### What makes a quote card worth posting?

The line, and honesty about whose it is. A sharp sentence of your own, set in large type with your name on it, is original content that travels: people repost the image and your name goes with it. If the card gets long, it stops being a quote card; past about 30 words you are better served by a text post.

### Can I quote someone else?

Only with the words they actually said, attributed to them. Putting invented words in a real person's mouth on a professional network follows you around. The strongest use of this tool is your own line anyway, because a repost of the image then advertises you, not someone else.

### Why does the text shrink when the quote is long?

The card auto-fits: longer quotes set smaller so nothing overflows or clips. That is also a design signal worth listening to. When the type has visibly shrunk, the line is carrying too many words to land as a quote, and cutting it back to one clause usually makes both the card and the sentence better.

### Can I move the text around?

Yes, drag it. The quote block and the attribution each move freely on the preview, so you can rebalance the card when a short line leaves too much air or a name wants a different corner. A reset button appears the moment anything has moved and puts the layout back in one click.

### Is there a watermark?

No. The download is your card at double resolution with nothing added, like every tool on this site.

### Is anything uploaded?

No. The card is drawn entirely in your browser, and the download is generated there too. Nothing you type leaves the page.
