## Questions people ask

### How do I download an image from a LinkedIn post?

Paste the link of the post and press Find the images. Every image the post carries appears as a tile with its size; save one with the button under it, or all of them at once. The files come to your device straight from LinkedIn’s own image servers, in the format LinkedIn stores them, usually JPG.

### Does it work for posts with several images?

Yes. A multi-image post shows every image, in order, and Download all saves them one after another with numbered filenames. If your browser asks whether to allow multiple downloads, choose Allow once and press the button again.

### What size are the images?

The size LinkedIn serves on the public page, which is the size everyone sees: typically 800 pixels wide for a multi-image post and up to 1280 or the original for a single image. Each tile shows its exact dimensions once it loads. LinkedIn signs every image URL for one size, so there is no hidden larger version to fetch.

### Can I download images from a carousel or a document post?

Yes. A document post has no images in the usual sense, so this page offers its slides instead, as images at up to 1920 pixels. The carousel downloader on this site does the same and adds the original PDF.

### Do I need to log in, and can I download from a private post?

No login, and no. The tool reads the page LinkedIn shows to anyone who is not signed in. A post shared with connections only, or from a profile that is not public, has no public page, and the tool says so rather than working around it.

### Is it legal to download someone’s LinkedIn image?

Saving a copy for reference is one thing; publishing it is another, and the image belongs to whoever made it. Reuse with permission or under a license, and credit the author when you share their work. LinkedIn’s own terms also ask members not to scrape or redistribute content, so keep it to the honest uses: your own posts, a client’s with their say-so, a screenshot for a citation.

### Is anything stored?

The link goes to our server, which reads the public post once and keeps the answer for an hour so a repeat lookup is instant; it holds the post’s public details and nothing about you. The images themselves never touch our servers.
